Taj Kennel Club
The Taj Kennel Club, Agra came into existence in the year 1995 out of a strong desire of dog lovers of this Historical City of Love known for "Taj Mahal" to have their own club. Affiliation to our club was granted by the Kennel Club of India in the year 1997 and we had organised 1st All Breeds Championship Dog Show at the sprawing lawns of 5-Star Deluxe Hotel Taj View, Agra. This show was judged by Mr. C. V. Sudarsan, Chennai and Mrs. Rukmani Sudarsan then Secretary of the Kennel Club of India was Chief Guest. There after till date we have distinction of organizing all our Dog Shows at the sprawling lawns of 5-Star Hotels and have invited repute Indian and International judges from Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Philippines and India. Our club was awarded "POINTED SHOW" status due to our performance of first two years by the Kennel Club of India and since then we have privilege to retain this unique status.
As per the visiting dignitaries for judging our shows, they have appreciated the hospitality and venue as one of the best judged by them during their entire carrier.
Since lot of visitors come to Agra for seeing the top of seven wonders of World "Taj Mahal", this event gives an additional chance to the tourists to see the dog show shows which are being organized during the same tourist season at the 5-Star Hotel where they stay.
